Third Man Hardware & Donner Triple Threat pedal
BOSS ME-90 Guitar Multi-Effects
D ’ Adarrio New Backline Gear Transport Pack Solo
Third Man Hardware ( owned by Jack White ) and Donner instruments have teamed up for the release of the Triple Threat pedal . Housed in a durable metal casing , the Triple Threat delivers on its name by providing Distortion , Phaser and Echo in one pedal . Each effect has three separate controls above the stomp switch . A power supply is included and there are two simple ¼ ” input and output on the back of the pedal . Sound wise , all three of the analog effects are very usable and easy to tweak . I didn ’ t think I would care much for the Phaser effect , but it is fun and can be mixed in lightly . Select all three effects at once , any two or just one … it ’ s up to your taste on the Triple Threat . You can visually recognize that Third Man is involved in this pedal thanks to the lightning bolts and Tesla tower graphics . It is offered in a limited-edition yellow finish or the standard black finish . Street price is only $ 99 , and this pedal has a small footprint so it will travel easy in a gig bag or can be attached to your favorite pedalboard ! www . donnermusic . com
BOSS launched their first multi-effects pedal device back in 1988 with ME-5 . Now in 2024 BOSS is unleashing the ME-90 Guitar Multiple Effects unit . First impressions the ME-90 is more compact than some of the previous models . Of course , it is loaded with 60 different BOSS effects and has onboard AIRD amp models . The eight multi-function foot switches allow you to choose stored effects or use the upper panel to select from the banks . There are 36 preset patches loaded into the ME-90 with 36 more that the user can create their own .
Connectivity takes the ME-90 to the next level where you can edit and move effects as you desire through the BOSS Tone Studio and share your sounds or grab others in the BOSS Tone Exchange . The BOSS ME-90 was created for Live applications , but you can also send it directly to a DAW and record also via the USB-C connector . Load up to three Speaker IRs at once . There is an optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter available . The foot pedal FX can dial in up or down 2 octaves , voice , wah , freeze , delay , 00 / DS and delay level . The BOSS ME-90 can be powered by AA batteries ( included ) or a DC adapter . All your favorite BOSS effects in one portable unit . Street price is $ 349.99 and the ME-90 packs a lot of effects for the money . www . boss . info
When you are playing music at church , youth events or summer camps there is always a need to pack extra gear , cables , and accessories . Thankfully D ’ Addario has just released a new edition to their Backline Gear with the Transport Pack Solo . At only two-thirds the size of the original Transport Pack , the Pack Solo is still filled with features and pockets to put your musical stuff . The lower portion features the six sectioned off module cable filling pockets . There are zippered compartments on each side of the bag and at the top you have space for pedals , tuners , strings , mics , and capos . My favorite section of the Pack Solo is the hidden laptop / tablet space on the back of the pack ! D ’ Addario has also added a sturdy strap on the front of the Pack Solo , handle at top and padded shoulder straps . And the fabric and zippers are water resistant . Priced at $ 169.99 D ’ Addario ’ s new Transport Pack Solo will protect and carry your value music equipment in style ! www . daddario . com
