[ Lindsey ] I am learning how to produce more intricate demos, so right now my top wish list item is a UA Apollo Twin X Duo Gen 2 interface.
[ WM ] What is a current Worship record you enjoy listening to right now?
[ Lindsey ] I am constantly listening to either Faith of My Father by Steffany Gretzinger, Captivate Us( Live from Keeper’ s Branch) by Christy Nockels, or Pure by Abbie Gamboa.
[ WM ] What are the biggest challenges you have faced as a woman in ministry and how have you grown through it?
[ Lindsey ] As a woman in ministry one of the biggest challenges I have faced, is learning how to disciple people in their connection to God. This has often come in direct opposition to the natural instincts I have to focus on my performance and the giftings that have opened the doors for me to be in my position. My largest challenges have been marked by the most intensive places of discipleship I have received, which have consistently pushed me to submit to Jesus. The largest place of growth in this, has been a reordering of my priorities, to see others before I see myself in as many situations as possible. Especially when serving on the platform, it is not about me and what I can do, it is about connection to God and serving His church.
[ WM ] Do you have words of encouragement to fellow worship leaders, worship bands and audio teams who serve week in and week out at their local church?
[ Lindsey ] The first thing I would say is, thank you. Remember the places you worship in private are far more valuable than anything that others see. Value His presence over your performance, serve His people over your own desire to be known and seen. Remain hidden where you can, pray, and then pray some more. You are being trusted by Jesus to serve HIS bride, what an honor.
