[ WM ] Tell us how this journey all began for you . How did the course of your life lead you to where you are now ?

[ Brian Tabor ] I ’ ve been honored to serve the local church as a worship leader for nearly 30 years . It ’ s been an amazing journey . In 2016 , after 23 years in ministry , I found that I needed an outlet – a place to vent some of my experiences in the local church , so I started Worship Probs on Instagram .

Nobody noticed but I did feel a little bit better and was able to laugh at myself and some of the situations I had faced and even created for myself in ministry . After a year or so , people started to notice , and I started getting direct messages from leaders who were pouring their hearts out about the challenges they were facing in their churches . Back then I was anonymous but at that moment I started to realize that my calling may be pivoting to serve worship and production leaders in a new way .

In 2018 we started The Worship Probs Podcast which gave us even more of an opportunity to give voice to the challenges that worship leaders , production leaders and their volunteers were facing . Fast forward and God has allowed us to have nearly 1.2 million streams of the podcast . Combined with our social media presence and opportunities to share at conferences we are having an absolute blast , pouring into these amazing people who serve the local church in worship and production . On May 1 , 2022 , I stepped into Worship Probs fulltime and cannot wait to see what God is going to do next .

[ WM ] When did you see a need for what you are offering right now ? Tell us about the

resource ( s ) you provide others in the worship community ?

[ Brian ] Early on in my ministry I knew realized that I couldn ’ t do it alone . I was blessed with a few amazing mentors who poured into me . Today that is a bit of a lost art , so I feel like we are able to pour into people from a distance . Right now , we have our social media channels , Community Facebook Group , The Worship Probs Podcast , Worship Caraoke , conference appearances and there is a lot more to come . We ’ re excited to see the dreams that God has given us come to life .

[ WM ] Let ’ s talk gear . What is your primary instrument for the stage and songwriting ?

[ Brian ] I am a keyboard player . I have mostly played a Nord Stage 3 and love that board .

[ WM ] If you use a microphone for the stage , studio , or podcast , what brands / models do you use ?

[ Brian ] For the podcast I use an Electro-Voice RE20 microphone and a Sony Cinema camera .
