The Enya Custom AcousticPlus system allows you to use the onboard effects acoustically or plugged into an amplifier or PA system . I tested it out with our Praise Team at church and my Audio-Visual team felt the delay effect gave it a more 12-string sound quality . It provided plenty of signal to the mixer with lots of headroom left and the built-in tuner was convenient also . Compared to some carbon fiber constructed instruments the Enya X4 Pro was more receptive to standard capos without the string buzz that I have encountered on other models .

The nut width is a comfortable 1-11 / 16 ” with a 25 ¾ scale on a 41 ” guitar . The X4 Pro comes in at only 6.3 lbs . making it lighter than some competing carbon fiber instruments , but still maintaining a sturdy feel .

The included Deluxe Hardshell case is very impressive and has the look of carbon fiber on the outside with lush padding and a pocket on the inside . The instrument kit includes the USB charging cable , a ¼ ” guitar cable , Enya branded leather strap , manual and case carrying straps . Priced at only $ 899 , the Enya X4 Pro is a true value in a great playing and sounding instrument . It is loud and articulate unplugged and easy to dial in a full tone when plugged in .

Many traditionalists have been afraid to take the carbon fiber leap , but the benefits are substantial in durability and consistency . It requires no humidification and extremes in temperature ( hot or cold ) will not affect the body or neck of the instrument . Besides the X4 Pro , Enya has also released the X4 Pro Mini which is a ¾ sized carbon fiber guitar . The primary differences on the Mini is that it is 36 inches long , has no cutaway , 19 frets , 1 5 / 8 inch nut width , 24 inch scale and it weighs in at 4.95 lbs . The Enya X4 Pro Mini still has the Custom AcousticPlus onboard effects system , same instrument kit and internal rechargeable battery via ( USB ). The street price on the Mini is $ 799.99 and this would be a great travel , camping or youth event style instrument .

Both Enya Acoustic / Electric guitars are an incredible value for the money on two wellconstructed fun to play instruments . Once you order one of the Enya instruments you might find that you are ignoring some of your more expensive guitars !
