[ WM ] Tell us how this journey all began for you . How did the course of your life lead you to where you are now ?

[ Ryland Russell ] I grew up watching my parents lead worship from piano and drums every Sunday at FBC Chickasha . I kinda rebelled against my musical tendencies and thought I ’ d be a pro baseball player . After winning the state championship God opened my eyes that he had a bigger plan for me . I began leaning into my musical and technical abilities and God opened the doors for me to serve .

[ WM ] When did you see a need for what you are offering right now ? Tell us about the resource ( s ) you provide others in the worship community ?

[ Ryland ] Before COVID I had posted a couple videos about our churches broadcast live streaming setup on YouTube . When the pandemic hit those videos blew up and tons of people found value in them . I realized that while God has me placed at my local church as a fulltime Worship & Media Arts Pastor , I can have a much bigger impact by documenting my journey and sharing tips and tricks that I ’ m learning along the way .
