[ WM ] Tell us how this journey all began for you . How did the course of your life lead you to where you are now ?

[ Bradford Mitchell ] I started leading worship in high school . I didn ’ t know much about what it was I just wanted to play guitar in a band at school . I quickly learned what it really meant and fell in love with it . Went to college for it and then got a job at a church in North Carolina . I met Brian Wahl there . He had been on staff for a couple months but had a YouTube channel . He invited me over to help with some videos for guitar and we just kept at it for several years as it grew .

[ WM ] When did you see a need for what you are offering right now ? Tell us about the resource ( s ) you provide others in the worship community ?

[ Bradford ] I knew learning guitar for worship was different than what my guitar teacher taught me at the Music and Arts center and what my jazz guitar professor taught me in college . I knew others had to be as lost as I was so once I really got a great grasp on some basic concepts I wanted to share with people . We offer a handful of generic lessons on our YouTube channel showing a variety of concepts and techniques and also song specific lessons .

[ WM ] Let ’ s talk gear . What is your primary instrument for the stage and songwriting ?

[ Bradford ] Lately I ’ ve been grabbing my Shelton SkyFlite the most . It ’ s a strat-style with loads of goodies and switching . It has Lambertones Triple Shots with gold filter covers

and it gives me everything I want from a strat and more .

[ WM ] If you use a microphone for the stage , studio , or podcast , what brands / models do you use ?

[ Bradford ] Really loving the UA SD-1 for our livestreams . When we mic up amps for projects a Royer 121 and Earthworks SR-25 are the goto combo .

[ WM ] If you play an acoustic guitar , what pickup system is on your guitar ?

[ Bradford ] LR Baggs Anthem - always !

[ WM ] What brand capo do you use ?

[ Bradford ] G7th - always !

[ WM ] What guitar strings do you prefer ?

[ Bradford ] I really don ’ t get too picky . On acoustic I actually like strings that are a bit older so they are more mellow . For electric I just really
