Favorite worship guitar performance in a song : Honestly - and there are so many to choose from - but , I ’ m gonna have to say James Duke ’ s “ How He Loves ” slide line or his part in “ Who is This ” by John Mark McMillan . Those are my OG ’ s .
Favorite Worship Album 2024 : I ’ ve been putting the new Bethel stuff on repeat . It ’ s inspiring , it ’ s worshipful , and it ’ s done by some of the best in the business .
Advice to fellow worship guitar players ? I often think about what I would have needed to hear when I first started . Comparison is a killer of confidence . There ’ s also a difference between cocky confidence and Godly confidence . Today , I ’ m able to walk in the confidence that comes from the experiences the Lord has led me through . It ’ s important not only to grow in your craft but also to walk in the assurance that God has placed you exactly where you are meant to be . Keeping gratitude at the forefront of your mind helps ground you and places your character before your pride .
