HASTINGS is considered worship , it is Christian … but I really like his stuff , I also see him every day so maybe I ’ m biased .
Advise to fellow worship guitar players ? I have lots of pedals for lots of different sounds , and especially in the studio , that ’ s helpful if someone says , “ What about that reverb sound
like off that song ?” I ’ m usually pretty good at finding a sound that will work , but if you are working on new material , one great guitar part that fits the song is worth a thousand guitar pedals . Guitar sounds can help with the creativity , but a guitar part that gives the songs it ’ s theme and character is to me , so much cooler then obsessing about guitar pedals .
