The stock pickups and neck profile are awesome . Just for kicks , I ’ ll soon be experimenting with some JM / P90 style pickups from Watson ’ s Tone Supply and I also have another Jazzmaster being built my MJT at the moment that I ’ m putting Lambertones Ristrettos into . The Squire certainly introduced me to the magic of Jazzmasters and I can ’ t get enough .

It ’ s dead stock and sounds wonderful in most any context and plays like a dream too . If I need a guitar that can get the job done for just about any song , this is the one .

2022 Danelectro 56 Baritone | $ 569 I bought this guitar on a whim wanting to explore the wonderful world of baritone and I ’ m not disappointed . It ’ s a perfect tool for layering guitar parts in the studio and there have been plenty of moments I ’ ve reached for it in a live context for that extra special song . The depth and character of a baritone is so so beautiful .
