Combining Acoustic Music with coffee or caffeinated beverages is not a stretch as most of us thrive on it . But what if you combined an online subscription business model with the best coffees available from around the world , paired them with big name musicians and luthiers , each bag purchased donates to a charity and still get rewarded for the coffee you buy ?
Sounds too good to be true right ? But it ’ s not . This is the Acoustic Coffee Company . Rich D ’ Ginto and Mike Desiderio started out as childhood friends , and both ended up involved in music in different capacities . Both gentlemen pursued their own careers in Business and Advertising communications but joined forces to create the Acoustic Coffee Company .
I found them by accident on social media and being a musician and coffee drinker , I wanted to know more about this company . This is not your typical Coffee Company . I would explain it as coffee with a purpose that has its roots in Acoustic Music . Even the roster of Signature blends is unique , and continuing to expand , with Greg Voros ( luthier at Gruhn Guitars , Tommy Emmanuel ( CGP ), Jake Shimabukuro ( world renown ukelele player ), Old Town School of Folk Music and O ’ Brien Guitars .
A portion of the money from each coffee product purchased goes to ( depending on the coffee purchased or you can select your charity of choice ): Guitars in the Classroom , Old Town School of Folk Music , VGDA , Vanderbilt Medical Center research for MS , Prostate
