Guitar Strings Electric : D ’ Addario EXL120 + Nickel Electric Guitar Strings 9.5-44 Super Light Plus When I started out my partnership with D ’ Addario , they sent a bunch of strings for me to try . I picked the EXL120 + is because the tone suits me very well , it ’ s not too bright . Also , it ’ s very well made so it suits my playing style a lot , as I like to bend the strings to 1 1 / 2 tone .
Brand of Capo : D ’ Addario Tri-Action Guitar Capo Love this capo because you can adjust the tension because different guitars require different tensions . Also , have I mentioned there ’ s a slot for your pick on the capo itself ?!
Brand / Type Guitar Pick : Dunlop Jazz III MAX Grip Always and forever MAX GRIP ! I feel much more in control of my sound and tone when I use this pick . I love the squinting technique ( although I ’ m not sure if this is the right term for it ), so the Jazz III is the perfect size and thickness for me .
Favorite Worship Guitar Performance in a Song : I ’ ve always liked Droff ’ s guitar work on Hillsong ’ s album , such as King of Kings . But Tauren Well ’ s “ Joy In The Morning ” has some great guitar
work in it !
A Current Worship Album You are Enjoying : I don ’ t really have a particular worship album that I would listen from top to bottom . But when I need some positive vibes and reminder of God ’ s goodness , I ’ d listen to World Music Radio by Jon Batiste . If I ’ m in need of some grace and mercy I would listen to a mix of Elevation Worship ’ s songs (“ Trust in God ”, “ More Than Able ”) and songs from Hillsong Worship ’ s
Awake and Let There Be Light albums .
