A current worship album you are enjoying: I’ m enjoying Brandon Lake’ s King of Hearts. It’ s not your typical CCM record and I love that. It’ s so inspiring.
Some advice for your fellow worship guitar players: Honestly, for me( and I think some people might relate), the biggest thing is not to compare yourself to other players. When you do that, you start questioning whether you’ re good enough— and that’ s just not true. We each have our own style and sound. Be confident, embrace it, dive into it. Learn what you like, what you don’ t like, and master it.
Playing guitar is a never-ending journey. You’ re constantly discovering new things— not just in your playing, but in your tone and overall sound as well. So, if you’ re reading this and you can relate, I promise you’ re doing a great job. Keep grinding and keep growing!
