Next is the Moon City Masters Signature Fuzz effect. This pedal was developed between Moon City Masters guitarist Jordan Steinberg and bassist Taylor Steinberg. For Fuzz connoisseurs this pedal is very diverse using Wima & Nichicon Electro Capacitors and 1n34a Germanium diodes. Plugged in it can get big and fuzzy but also performs nicely at low levels of grit and is priced at $ 229.
For retro blues sounds the OG OD is a fantastic pedal providing three stages of bass boost with a mini toggle in the middle. Thanks to an RC4558p chip it will bring out vintage blues guitar grit or modern OD all in one pedal and priced at just $ 200.
LsL Pedals LsL Instruments, a California based familyowned company, are known for their standard and custom model guitars, played by many popular musicians. The LsL LUCID-OD effect( my favorite) provides organic overdrive tones similar to the highly sought after Klon Centaur. The tone control turns the opposite direction so you can achieve traditional overdriven amp sounds or fullblown wide-open amplifier push thanks to the internal voltage doubler. At $ 299 the LUCID-OD sounds great.
The VITAL DS distortion pedal is more robust with a 3-band EQ on top, plus volume and gain controls. This pedal is designed for more contemporary Christian music that hits harder with aggressive mids, but it still maintains clarity between the notes for chords and solos. VITAL DS is available for $ 200.
