BREW FEST
yummy breakfast in house and coffee for the road
from Brown Sugar Coffee Roastery downtown in
Riverton, we journeyed over to Lander. We enjoyed
the sights at the Fremont County Pioneer Museum in
Lander, visited the Lander Valley Farmers’ Market
and walked around City Park and downtown Lander,
not too far away. It was a sunshine-filled day, so
we journeyed up to Sinks Canyon State Park and
marveled with the many others that morning at how
full and powerfully the river raged below our feet.
Levi showed me around some of his adventure spots
as a kid in the mountains before we made our way
back to Lander for the Brew Fest.
We had a fantastic time! We checked out everything
from Wind River Raptors’ fine-feathered friends to
local artisans to jamming to some good sounds … and
of course, there was beer. GOOD beer, from all over
the region. We still had daylight ahead, so we had
to keep our heads about us, and selected a sampling
from many different brewers. It was nice to see some
hometown representation from Laramie (including
