it was his vision to be a horse trainer.
As he worked with his parents’
mules, this was encouraged. When
he left home out of high school,
he traveled to Wyoming with two
mules. Grant journeyed to California
and played professional polo for a
number of years. After moving to
Dubois, Wyoming, Grant worked
a cattle ranch and then returned to
Colorado for a short time.
In 1997, Wyoming became Grant’s
home when he and Jane married.
Jane’s grandparents, who came from
Switzerland in 1911, homesteaded in
the valley. Jane’s father and mother,
Walter and Betty Feuz, bought the
piece of ranch property which is still
family owned today. The Diamond
Cross Ranch and Horse Whisperer
presentations are housed on a
portion of that property.

The principles that guide Grant
and Jane Golliher’s business have

children. Luke graduated from
Harvard, obtained his Master’s
degree in Business Administration
and worked for an investment
firm, the Carlisle Group, based in
Washington D.C. He now interjects
his skills into the operation of the
Diamond Cross Ranch. Peter
graduated from the University of
Pennsylvania, and upon graduation,
moved to a position in Washington
D.C., where he worked in the White
House. In fact, Peter interned for

horsewoman, studied at Westchester
College, Pennsylvania, and honed
her talents in the arenas of drama
and psychology.
