WLM | Wyoming Woman CAMPBELL COUNTY Has Talent LAZY KT DESIGNS I n December of 2013, Kaitlyn Black graduated from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD, with a BS in Mass Communications, an emphasis in Photography and a double minor in Marketing & Commercial Arts. She had slowly been investing in her business Lazy KT Designs before graduation and was able to dive in head first as soon as she walked across the stage. With her business, Kaitlyn uses people’s photos, logos and artwork to create custom gifts, keepsakes, promotional items, awards, art and more. Whether you are looking for a unique piece to decorate your home, bridal party gifts, are an artist looking to expand their product line, a shop interested in new products or a group or organization looking for awards, Lazy KT Designs can help! Kaitlyn has quickly grown her business, adding different products along the way and adding a website to the mix. Not only does she offer her products on a retail level for customers, but she also works with a wide variety of 22 shops, artists, photographers and organizations from around the country on a wholesale level. Kaitlyn also took it upon herself to become licensed to print the Wyoming Bucking Horse and other trademarked Wyoming symbols in 2014. She has successfully sold hundreds of thousands of coasters, cutting boards, mugs, slates and more with the Wyoming symbols and plans on expanding her Wyoming product line this year as well. Lazy KT Designs’ different Wyoming items can be found throughout the state at The Curiosity Shoppe in Laramie, Ladybugs & Polkadots in Douglas, W Bar Feed & Ranch Supply in Hulett, Avenue Mall in Gillette and Annie’s Antiques in Buffalo. She also frequents retail shows throughout Wyoming, South Dakota and Montana. Kaitlyn works with organizations to create unique awards, special recognitions and more.
