PHOTOGRAPHING THE MOULTON BARNS Thank you to these talented photographers who shared their images of the T.A. and John Moulton Barns for our “Wyovore – My Wyoming Craving” feature (p.30). Look for the captions on each image for both the photographer as well as the identity of that particular barn. The T.A. Moulton Barn was constructed in 1913, and the John Moulton Barn in the 1930s. We greatly appreciate the work of these photographers and their willingness to share in our special look at these historic structures. Erica Campbell is based out of Riverton, WY. Sonja Caywood creates fine art that captures her passion for the West. A painter from Dayton, Wyoming, Sonja’s paintings convey her affection for the landscape, livestock and agrarian lifestyle in the Big Horn Mountain region. “It’s vital to me to record this last vestige of our ‘old west’ heritage,” Sonja says. Her history growing up ‘in the saddle’ in Wyoming and Montana and lifetime love of creating has led her to her dream. “Creating is integral to my existence – as needed as rain,” Sonja says. He travels the entire state taking pictures of festivals, historic sites, landscapes, wildlife, visitor attractions, etc. Chad also makes at least one trip into Wyoming each year, shooting photos for fun. His photographs have appeared in many publications including National Geographic Traveler, books on the rock band KISS, and exhibited at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson and the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody. Al Kajin Brant Nyberg, was born and raised on a ranch in southwestern Montana. He majored in photography at Montana State University. Al enjoys photographing the beautiful world we live in here in the west. an Assistant Principal, lives in Riverton, WY with his wife and two sons. Brant has been taking photos since his high school days back at Wind River in the ‘80s. Brant has “…a simple mission: to use my camera to capture the world as it unfolds before me.” Brant believes in sharing each picture’s unique story, and captures everything from portraits to landscape, sporting events and the adventures of his family.
