the Spanish Colonial style seen throughout the community.

refinery, town site and
oil fields for over $7.7
million. In December 1942,
the community changed its
name to Sinclair.
Today, many of the
refinery’s employees live in
the community. Individuals
are looking at the intrinsic
value of preserving Sinclair’s past for
generations to come. I will now take
a longer look at Sinclair when I pass
by on my way along I-80. Sometimes
we are going too fast to recognize a
