International Time Capsule

I
n our last issue of WLM, I shared my “green folder
obsession” at the Wyoming State Archives. I tell
my friends at the archives my topic and retreat to a
table with green folders of historical images. A pair of
white gloves, a well-loved number two pencil for notes
and a bunch of whispered “wow” and “no kidding!”
comments later, I emerge with a new historical
appreciation of a Wyoming community and a fun
feature for WLM.
North Street
In our last issue we focused on Cody – finding a
collection of images that caught my eye. Relation of
each image to the others was disregarded. This time, I
decided to head to Southwest Wyoming with my search.
It was a tough choice which community to focus on –
Rock Springs, Green River, Evanston, Kemmerer, there
are so many areas that I want to explore via my green
