The WCLC, organized in 1948,
prides itself on its local impact,
with 100% of the Christmas
House proceeds benefiting local
non-profit organizations and
projects in Laramie County. “{The
league} is dedicated to improving
the community of Cheyenne
and Laramie County through
scholarships, direct grants and
service projects. We are proud to
have granted, financed or supported
the requests of over 200 different
organizations and special events in
and around Cheyenne as well as
helping to improve the quality of
life of countless individuals. Over
$1 million has been returned to our
community in a variety of ways from
projects as diverse as conservation
projects and city park development,
to education scholarships for
young people and non-traditional
women students returning to
school, to support for the homeless,
to name just a very few,” the
league shares via their website,
