The log home in Rivermeadows
provides an example of the benefits we
enjoy. It is situated on a narrow strip
of land between the Bridger Teton
National Forest and the Snake River.
Nature prevails. Moose regularly
rest on the lawn. Great Gray Owls
sit confidently on pine branches.
Gosshawks stalk Ruffed Grouse.
Snowshoe Hares nibble the grass. It is
all right out your windows. There are
trails in the adjacent forest that were
created by ranchers harvesting lodge
pole pines for buck and rail fencing.
There is a path to the Snake River that
is part of an old dug way for driving
cattle down to water. The home rests
amidst all this natural beauty, but it is
just ten minutes away from downtown
Wilson, where you can dance at the
Stagecoach Bar on Sunday nights;
and dine at the family run Nora’s Fish
Creek Inn. Another ten minutes of
driving can take you to the number
one rated ski area in the world, Teton
Village; or to downtown Jackson.
