CI Club Investiture

Year after year, the CI Club Investiture acknowledges the efforts of the outgoing committee and celebrates the symbolic birth of a newly elected batch of student leaders. The fun-filled night started with the introduction of the various portfolio holders from the 19th CI Club. One at a time, the seniors strutted down the aisle at the benches, smiling with glee—after a year of hard work, this would be their last hurrah. I remember the seniors congratulating and cheering for each other. It was a heartwarming sight to witness the strong bonds forged from working tirelessly together for a year. Then came the time for gift exchanges between the current and upcoming portfolio holders. One at a time, each member of the 20th CI Club presented their token of appreciation to their predecessor and received wise words of advice in exchange. With this simple ceremony, the baton was passed on to us, the 20th batch of student leaders, to carry on the legacy of our seniors. By the end of the night, the 20th CI Club was officially formed. This marked the start of an unknown yet exciting journey for all of us. Looking back, it was evident from the event that the 20th CI Club is made up of a mix of personalities, strengths and weaknesses, but our enthusiasm to contribute back to the school has certainly bonded us all together as one.
