Chapter 1
Laura woke up in her room as normal, she jumped out of bed grabbing her staff and running downstairs.
"Hello Laura!" Replied Aaron, a friend of Laura's.
"What do you want Aaron?" Laura grumpily replied.
"Nothing, I just said hello..."
She's always acted like this since ever since her father disappeared. Thought Aaron.
"I'm going outside to patrol the area." Said Laura.
Laura lived in a kingdom called Odhome. Odhome was known as the kingdom of forests. Her father named Orden went to Darkmoor to fight some Shadows but never returned, they say he is trapped there and can only be freed if all the shadows are completely destroyed.
Laura jumped off a small ledge running into the forest.
"Seems normal, but foggier than usual." Laura said to herself.
Suddenly their was a crashing noise to the far left of Laura.
"What was that! I better go check it out!"
Laura darted across the forest only to find her loyal mount fell out of a tree.
"You scared me their for a second, how about we don't go climbing anymore trees, hmm?" Said Laura as she was petting her mount.
"Nice mount you got there." Replied a voice behind Laura.
"What!" Laura turned around only to find Aaron sitting on a tree branch.
"Don't ever do that again! You scared the heck out of me!" Laura shouted.
"Hey hey! Calm down." Chuckled Aaron. "Let's say we go back to the castle and get us some breakfast?" Aaron asked.
"Okay okay, fine. Let's go!" Laura replied.
