Pve (Continued)
Size of the deck does not matter since you will be keeping it to a minimal, but the SIDEBOARD is the MOST important part. Here, we need to pack 3 specific Treasure Cards. They are, Cleanse Charm, Pierce, and Tough.
Cleanse Charm is used to remove those Weaknesses. Marleybonians love to abuse this spell, and will be essential when you are left with the boss, and have a Feint on him. Using Cleanse Charm will preserve the Feint. Now, if you can remove it from yourself without using Cleanse Charm, better. This can be bought in the Bazaar under STORM.
Secondly, Pierce is used for Ice minions and bosses. They don't use Tower Shield much, but don't risk it. Same reason, due to the Feint. This can be bought in the Bazaar as well under MYTH.
Finally, use Tough on your Spells to help get over the 1,400 margin most Life Spells hold at this level. Tough can be bought at a cheap price of 20 gold each, or 20 for 1,000 at the Library under MYTH. I normally kept all 3 of these in stock at 20/20/20.
Now, if you have an even sideboard, spread the TC out equally. If you have a Sideboard of 12, have 4 of each TC. Go replacing as you use. If you have an odd sideboard, like 5, have more Cleanse Charms, than Tough or Pierce. Pierce is rarely used except on Ice bosses and minions, and tough isn't THAT necessary, just a great risk-reducer.
Now, lets run through the real deck one by one as listed above.
First, you will need 2 Life Traps and Lifeblades for each enemy. Satyr and Fairy are added for quick heals in case you drop low on health. Use the one most necessary. For example, if you are about to kill the boss, but have 72 HP remaining, use the Fairy. If you have yet to start placing traps on the Boss, and are down to 72 HP, use the Satyr.
Next, in case you do not have access to Centaur yet, substitute it in with another Seraph until you can use Centaur. Feint is used on the boss ONLY, as the Spirit Blade.
The strategy is:
Minion: Life Trap/Life Blade/Seraph
Boss: Feint (before any other trap)/Life Trap/Blade/Spirit Blade/Centaur or Seraph
Using the strategy above and deck above, you will have NO trouble doing battles in Marleybone, MooShu, and possibly, Dragonspyre!
Hope this helps, and see you next time, with another tip for the fellow wizards out there!
