~The 5th of November~
~Chapter 1~
"Remember, remember the 5th of November". That's what they always used to say when that day used to come. In the realm of where magic never existed the 5th of November was known as 'Guy Fawkes Day' or 'Bonfire Night'. The event was when a Catholic named Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in an area called England,but he got discovered and got executed. In our Realm however the 5th of November was when Malistaire the old Death professor tried to take over the Spiral. Powerful wizards defeated him and he got banished to the depths of Dragonspyre where he could never hurt us again or... "Maya, Maya" I heard my friend call. "You have to come, the celebrations are starting!" She squealed. I looked at the girl in my Dorm, she had long pink hair and blue eyes. I finished writing my notes.
"Miss Elizabeth Dawnflower, can't you see I was in the middle of writing down some information" I said. She yawned, "Maya, why must you be so formal and boring come on we're going to miss it!" As I got up she took hold of my arm and dragged me out of my Dorm.
