CONNOR WILL GET HIS DAY AT THE ZOO – THANK YOU!
You might have heard about 10-year-old Connor, who was diagnosed with Friedreich’s ataxia,
a rare degenerative disease of the nervous system.
Connor featured in our Christmas Appeal and his cherished wish is to be a zookeeper for a day. We are very excited
to let you know that thanks to everyone who supported the Appeal, Connor’s wish will soon come true!
Connor was recently presented with a chain of hope – made using kind messages of support from
Make-A-Wish donors! He was thrilled, as is evident in the above photo. His family was also very moved by
the kindness of the community.
Again, thank you to those who made a gift at this special time - your support brightens lives. ■
