You Put The Icing On The Cake For Jayke!
As a little boy with the ambition of one day becoming a chef, Jayke quickly
developed a fascination for TV series My Kitchen Rules.
Despite the limiting effects of a brain tumour and a
stroke, eight-year-old Jayke loves to help his mum in
the kitchen and the TV show has always provided lots
of inspiration.
From the moment he saw his first episode of My Kitchen
Rules, Jayke knew he wanted to meet show host and
renowned chef, Manu Feildel, so this was exactly what
he wished for.
The very thought of his wish coming true seemed to
give him a new energy and strength, which was very
heartening for his family too.
So just imagine Jayke’s excitement when, thanks to your
generous and important regular support, his greatest
wish came true! He was picked up by limousine and
taken to one of Melbourne’s top restaurants, only to
discover that Manu was on his way to meet him!
The pair exchanged their thoughts on favourite foods
over a long chat and then enjoyed a special afternoon
tea. And it didn’t end there; they then headed into the
kitchen and cooked up a storm together. The result? An
amazing dessert creation and the perfect recipe for a
memorable wish! ?
Thank you for making another cherished
wish come true! This life-changing
experience wouldn’t have been possible
without you!
We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
