Every year it is a day to feel proud and happy about. Most importantly, it is the brave soldiers and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the future of our country. It is declared a National Holiday on 15th August. The significance of the celebration is hoisting the Indian Flag, singing the National Anthem and a parade. Every school, hospital, and offices follow this tradition. What didn’t turn out good is that India and Pakistan got separated. However, everything cannot be perfect and we all must celebrate this day thanking souls who took part in the freedom movement and got us where we are today.
