In August 2018, the teenager Greta Thunberg first staged a ‘School Strike for Climate’ outside Riksdag, the national legislature and the supreme decision-making body of Sweden. Autism a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. However, overcoming her disability, Thunberg became the leader of a worldwide movement. In many interviews, Thunberg said that she became an activist not in spite of her autism but because of it. Recently Thunberg together 15 other youngsters filed a lawsuit with the United Nations Committee on the Convention on the Rights of the Child alleging Germany, Argentina, Brazil, France, and Turkey was cognizant of the negative impact on the environment of their carbon emissions and did nothing to ward it off.
