Goa
Goa has many traditional and cultural dances
which are performed during various festivals
and occasions. Ghode Modni is a dance form,
that is performed in the place Bicholim Taluka.
This dance form is performed remembering
the great warriors. The background music of
this dance is with Dhol and Tasha.
Dheniki is another art where there will be a
combination of dance and music.
One of the most spectacular skilled dance is
lamp dance. The dancer balances the lamps
with the body movements. This skilled dance
is performed during Shimgo festival.The
traditional fol songs are part of this dance form.
Goa is a place that is open in accepting
