No 8 - No 7 - Loopholes of the act The opposition thinks that this act intends to declare Muslims as second-class citizens of India and they are being treated different from other religious groups. In a way, this law is going against the law of fundamental rights. Additionally, they even think that the Parliament doesn’t have a right to bring about changes in the Constitution. This bill does have loopholes, all the religious minorities are not given protection. What are the problems citizens face? In Pakistan, the Ahmedia Muslim sects and Shias are discriminated against. In Burma, Hindus and Rohingya Muslims are oppressed. In Srilanka, Tamil Hindu and Christians encounter problems. Therefore, if the Government thinks that Muslims can go back to Muslim-nations and seek shelter. How about the problems the other religions are facing? What does the opposition think about this act? The law isn’t yet operating, the home ministry is yet to decide on the rules. This matter is taken to the Supreme Court as experts need to take a look at it. SBI’S New Rule On Withdrawal Of Amounts More Than 10,000 In order to reduce the rate of unauthorized transactions, this new rule of the ATM will be introduced. Besides, the State Bank ATM’s have introduced another aspect of security for cash withdrawals. The OTP will be received on the customer’s number that is registered with the bank. This functionality is not developed in National Financial Switch so this is applicable only if the State Bank holder withdraws cash from SBI Bank. NFS manages quite a lot of the domestic interbank transactions. SBI is going to implement a new rule of introducing OTP based ATM transactions if you want to withdraw more than Rs 10,000. In other words, the withdrawal will be successful only after the OTP is verified. How does this work? The holder will need to type in the amount he/she wants to withdraw, then the ATM screen will display the OTP option. Once the holder receives the OTP number as an SMS on their phone, they will be able to enter the number and successfully withdraw cash. This rule will be implemented from January 1st and the holder can withdraw money anytime between 8.am and 8.pm.
