OYO
Over a year, OYO’s business is not doing well as corporates like
L&t Infotech, TCS and Vodafone Idea have rolled back their
business with OYO as there were issues on women’s safety and
drawbacks in their services.
It has been stated that 18%
of OYO’s revenue would
come from a corporate
business. In addition to this,
there were concerns with the
team and hotel partners.
One of the employees
mentioned that OYO had not
been doing well over a year
and it was getting difficult for
them to provide good service
to all the corporate clients.
When compared to 2018, the
business went down in 2019.

These issues first came up
in Pune when L&T Infotech
stepped back from OYO. One
of the female employee’s
safety was taken overlooked.
There were a couple of
emails sent from L&T
Infotech to OYO, addressing
their issue of their female
employees feeling unsafe and
they might not do business
with OYO if it continued. They
didn’t find OYO to be taking
any responsibility to tackle
the issue.
Further, there was no
response to any comments
and Britannia had quality
issues with OYO as well.
TCS and Vodafone also
decided not to continue
business with OYO.
One of OYO’s corporate
members said that
Vodafone’s business with
OYO fell from 25 lakhs
in October to 11 lakhs
