1. Lord Shiva’s Blessing On Wisdom
Once upon a time, there lived a hunter who
was in search of a deer to begin hunting
for the day. He tried several ways to grab
the deer’s attention, but, he couldn’t
succeed.
After a while, he sat on a woodapple tree
and thought that it would be best to throw
leaves from this tree and get the deer’s
attention. So, when he threw leaves, the
leaves went and fell on Lord Shiva’s Linga.
Lord Shiva was happy with this gesture of
the hunter and blessed him with wisdom
to stop hunting. Ever since the hunter
stopped eating meat.
