Indian Army Merged With A Private Firm And
Developed Low-Cost Gun Shot Locator
Currently Indian Army imports expensive gun
shot locator which costs around 65 lakhs.
Developing a cheapest device is a great
achievement. The newly developed gun shot
locator costs around 3 lakhs.
Army’s College of Military Engineering
merged with a private work to work on
this project to develop a cheaper device
compared to imported devices.
This new device is capable of locating a bullet
from 400m distance. It will help to locate and
counterattack at terrorist faster. “Parth” gun
shot locator is the cheapest army device in
the world.
Major Anoopa Mishra exhibited “Parth”
gun shot locator at the DefExpo 2020 at
Lucknow. Major Mishra also developed a
bulletproof jacket which gives protection from
sniper bullets to the soldiers. He is also the
one who developed a helmet that can stop
AK-47 bullet from distance of 10 meters.
