Arjuna’s answer is reflective of the fact that he has a clear goal and the ability to concentrate his energies on the target and nothing else. This story teaches us that that we should make ourselves capable to separate our goals away from the distractions of life. Always set your eyes on the goal and let everything else fade away into oblivion. Arjuna was able to ignore the presence of the tree branches and leaves and only saw what is master asked him to achieve. Everything else are only distractions which will always be in your life to pull you away from your target. This simple attribute with set you apart from the crowd and make you special like Arjuna among the other princes.
