While designing an office space keep in mind the following points.

1. If you are starting from scratch and looking for a piece of land to construct your office, Godown, factory or any other commercial space, make sure you opt for a Shermukhi Plot. A Plot which has a broad front and a narrowing end are called as Shermukhi plots. It is also suggested that it should be close to an working road. For example the main busy streets in a market area.

2. In order for the office space to be always surrounded in good luck and abundant positive energy, the commercial space should always be facing either North, North-East or North-West. Make sure to avoid the west facing plots, if you already own a plot like that, do not construct the entrance facing west, it can affect your morale at work and bring you difficulties.

3. The front door, as far as possible should always be facing either east or North. Also remember to keep an area around the door open, a sudden obstruction right at the door is undesirable and unlucky.

4. Utilise the eastern or North-eastern corner of your workspace in building a waiting room, welcome area or the reception. It will boost growth.

5. Have you noticed most office buildings having an empty space? That is not accidental but intentional. Leave the central space of your office empty.
