The union budget is
announced by the Finance
Minister of India, Nirmala
Sitharaman. It was on 5th
July 2019. The new budget
aims to use the best of
technology, building social
infrastructure. The other
interesting and already active
aim is digital India. India is
going to become a huge
digital nation. Government
is working on making India a
pollution-free country, as part
of union budget 2019. good

creation in micro, small and
medium enterprises.
The total expenditure for
2019-20, as per union
budget is 2,786,349 (US$
417.95 billion). There is an
increase in expenditure of
14.09 percent compared to
the 2018-19 budget.

Highlights of the
Union Budget 2019-20
--> 5 Lakh of minimum limit
is approved for taxpayers for
a tax rebate. Hence there will
no need to pay the tax under
this scenario.
The GST rate is going to
lower on electronic vehicles
and it is of 5% percentage.
--> 50 lakh of the budget
is announced for railway
infrastructure.
l It is confirmed that, by 2022,
all the rural families will be
facilitated with electricity and
cooking facility.
--> 1 Crore of loans is
proposed to MSMEs.
l There will be pension benefit
which is going to extend to
3 crores retails traders. This
benefit is under Karam Yogi
Maan Dhan Scheme. To
obtain this benefit, it needs
only the adhaar card and bank
accounts.
