Some Deaf community members also attend the workshops. Marge Liberski and Jason Altmann of ODHH presented on topics such as resume writing, interview, job application, and job search. The presenters were able to involve the audience in answering questions, role-playing scenarios, having the participants answer their questions, and lively discussions. The students appreciated the presenters’ real-life experiences, which included frustrations in getting a job, accessibility issues for Deaf people, and the joys of obtaining a job. Winter 2010 - 5
