ABBEYFIELD LEAR HOUSE,
SENSORY GARDEN OPEN DAY
On 5th September, on a lovely sunny
afternoon, residents, their families and
friends enjoyed Champagne and cream teas
to celebrate the opening of their new garden
in the grounds of Lear House.
Specially designed by Dominic Gascoigne,
created by Caldy Construction Co & A K
Roberts Groundworks and supervised by
Stringer Surveying, this truly amazing garden
allows residents to wander amongst the
sensory flowerbeds, sit on the patio with views
of West Kirby and enjoy a cup of tea in their
own garden tea room! They can even tend
their own shrubs in raised flowerbeds.
Ailsa Wright, General Manager at Abbeyfield
Lear House said: "We are very grateful to all
those people whose generous donations made
the garden possible."
