WIRRAL CHAMBER AND ABSOLUTELY DESIGN,
TEAM UP TO BRING ART BACK TO PACIFIC ROAD
In 2014 Pacific Road Arts Centre was given a new lease of
life after closing its doors in 2011. Pacific Road once known
for giving local future stars a stage to shine now gives local
businesses an incubator to grow.

Earlier this year, Absolutely Design was commissioned to
create wall murals around the historic building, to reflect the
relaxed working environment along with the history of the
building. Punch Technology spent 14 months based in Pacific Road
and show the success businesses can while being based in
the building. While being a part of the community they saw
demand for their custom-built computers grow to the point
where they needed a facility with production and warehouse
space.
Absolutely Design has previously been commissioned by
several Wirral based charities and businesses including
Evoke Creative, B&M Waste and Claire House, with bespoke
artwork created for the brand of each individual business
telling their story. Dave Ayling, Digital Director of Punch Technology added:
“Pacific Road has been a great incubator for us, you’ve got a lot
of other businesses starting up and some of those businesses
might not have all the in-house resources they need, but here
you could have them next door.”
Paula Basnett, CEO of Wirral Chamber of Commerce said:
“The ethos of Pacific Road is to help businesses to outgrow
us, we want to see business flourishing and employing more
