BIRKENHEAD LIBRARY LAUNCHES LIFELINE FOR WIRRAL BUSINESSES
Wirral businesses are set to benefit from a new range of resources and services designed to help anyone in the area start or grow their own businesses .
Birkenhead Central Library launched its own Business & Intellectual Property Centre ( BIPC ) on September 27th 2022 which will now provide hundreds of local people with the opportunity to access free help , information and advice around protecting a new idea and getting it off the ground .
The library joined forces with Wirral Chamber to host the launch event which saw business leaders and local dignitaries gather for the official opening . Resources include a powerful range of free business databases , provided by the British Library . There will also be a programme of events , workshops and one-to-one advice sessions delivered in collaboration with local business leaders , professional advisors , successful entrepreneurs and community partners .
Chief Executive of Wirral Chamber , Paula Basnett said : " This is an exciting opportunity for new entrepreneurs and indeed all businesses across Wirral . It is fantastic that so many people can now access new invaluable support and specialist resources across the Liverpool City Region .”
