THE RETURN OF WIRRAL BUSINESS AWARDS HIGHLIGHTS ECONOMIC SUCCESS
After a two-year hiatus , the best of Wirral ’ s business community were recognised and rewarded at a celebration evening which saw the welcome return of the Wirral Business Awards .
The winners of the Wirral Business Awards were crowned on Friday 30th September during a glamorous evening held on Wirral ’ s waterfront at the popular Woodside Food & Market , attended by more than 250 of the region ’ s leading business people . Organised by Wirral Chamber of Commerce to coincide with their 110th anniversary , the event was supported by prominent local , national and international sponsors , including headline sponsor Unilever , together with Reception Sponsor Peel L & P , Media Sponsor Hi-Impact Media and Category Sponsors , Finsa UK , Magenta Living , Stiebel Eltron UK , Sure Solutions and The Lauries . The event once again highlighted the outstanding creativity , innovation and entrepreneurship by companies and individuals across Wirral ’ s business community .
This year , the evening was hosted by John Barnes MBE , former Liverpool and England footballer , who introduced the eight awards , all which clearly demonstrated the positivity shown by the award finalists and the key roles they are all playing in building Wirral ’ s economy .
CEO of Wirral Chamber of Commerce , Paula Basnett said : " It was a delight to once again welcome so many businesses to the Wirral Business Awards and to pay tribute to them on a night when the businesses can come together and celebrate with each other their successes and achievements .
