Setting the standard in luxury wellness products , Hypa Spa is a luxury spa , pool and experience room supplier based in Neston . We caught up with owner Dan Griffiths to find out more about this amazing business .
How did you end up owning a business in this industry ? I do get asked this a lot , how did I end up owning a business in the Spa , Pool and Experience room industry ? Like many people , you fall into certain roles and industries by chance but from a very young age , I knew I wanted to have my own business one day . I was fortunate to begin working for the largest pool and spa manufacturer in Europe nearly 20 years ago and I quickly fell in love with the Wellness industry . After 15 years of working with high end products and people , I knew the time was right to start my own company and in April 2017 , Hypa spa was created . From the very beginning , I wanted Hypa spa to offer products and services of the highest quality and always strive to improve year in , year out and we continue to do so today .
What was your biggest challenge when starting up ? The challenge to be different from every other hot tub and spa company in the industry . We had no intention of competing with other companies for very similar products , we wanted to offer bespoke and unique products that would stand out from the rest . This is not easy as you have to really understand you clientele and always be creative and innovative . This brings new challenges all the time but we thrive on them as it is more important to us to leave our clients amazed with our products and services , no matter the time and effort required from us .
Are your products for domestic customers only ? No , we have a full range of commercial hot tubs , tiled spas and experience rooms for hotels , day spas and gyms . We have recently completed hotel spas in Devon and we are currently involved in a spa and sauna project for a hotel in the Lake District .
What other services can you offer customers ? We offer a complete service from initial 3D design , to electrical and ground works , to final installation and an after care package . We can help our customers at every stage to ensure the final installation is perfect .
Are you purely UK based ? Through our network of international partners , particularly in Spain and Belgium , we have supplied spa , pool and wellness products , as well as consulting services , across Europe . We aim to increase this service and work even closer to our partners to further expand our business .
What does the future hold for Hypa spa ? The Wellness industry is vast and for us , we want to give our clients the total wellbeing experience . Our spa , pool and experience room products will be combined with physical fitness , massage and nutrition . We have new products launching in 2023 that are completely unique to this industry , and we intend to continue pushing the envelope in innovation and service for our customers .
