THE PRIVATE EYE

Welcome to an insight into my world as a Private Investigator . Some of you reading this article will remember I wrote some editorials in Wirral Life some months ago , however , I just wanted to remind you , the reader , what a Private Investigator can do for you and this list is not exhaustive :
1 . We put people under surveillance for a variety of reasons from cheating partners , fraudulent claims such as injury or sickness , employee absenteeism , to industrial espionage . If you want someone watching , contact us !
2 . We provide vehicle trackers . If you want to know where someone is going , we go out in the middle of the night and fit magnetic trackers on vehicles . By way of an app on your phone , you can watch the movements of the vehicle 24hrs a day . Be warned though , these are more addictive than Facebook !
3 . We conduct background checks on people , investigate their current and previous addresses , phone numbers , family members , criminal history , credit history and anything else you would like to know about someone .
4 . We trace people in circumstances such as bad debtors , long lost family members , old friends and have even been asked to look for ex partners .
5 . We serve legal documents to anyone involved in a court case on behalf of the courts of solicitors . This is commonly known as Process Serving .
6 . We investigate any situation at all from criminal cases where you may not be happy with an outcome from the Police to civil matters . 7 . We conduct lie detector tests which are so accurate , the FBI use the technology .
The best thing about my company is that we are experienced having served 25 years in the Police , totally confidential and approachable whatever time of day it is . We use the latest pieces of equipment from video cameras , covert cameras disguised as other everyday items to listening devices . We can give you free advice over the phone if you aren ’ t sure of anything in whatever situation you find yourself in .
Since my last appearance in Wirral Life , even though I am locally based , I have found myself up and down the country for various tasks and I have been purchasing more covert equipment that leaves less and less room in the car for me ! The best purchase I have made lately is a new remote camera where I can attach it to a small power pack , disguise it in a bush or up a tree and watch the live footage on my phone . This is excellent for me , as it saves me having to sit very close to someone ’ s house . It reduces
my exposure to the target so much . I have used it however in another circumstance which many of you will find unbelievable . I received a call from a male in Liverpool who said that when he leaves for work early in the morning , his next door neighbour jumps over the rear garden wall and continues an affair with his wife ! Well … I couldn ’ t turn this job down . I crept into the rear garden in the middle of the night and installed the camera . Sure enough , later that morning , I saw the neighbour climb over the wall and enter the house . This footage was sent and needless to say , the client is now single .
I had a lovely letter of thanks too in the last few weeks . A lady contacted me and was distraught as she had lost touch with her daughter some years back after a family argument and hadn ’ t a clue where she was . I found her in an address in The Midlands and explained to her how upset her mother was . I was able to put them in touch and to top it off for the client , she was able to start a relationship with grandchildren she never knew she had . That result really made my day .
Things don ’ t always go to plan though . Only this last week , I had four days of surveillance booked in for a client who suspected his wife was cheating . He also suspected who it was . I placed a tracker on the cheating wife ’ s car and her boyfriend ’ s vehicle and began surveillance . Not three hours into the first day , the wife visited a small village where the boyfriend lives and parked her vehicle nearby his house . At this stage , we had absolutely no evidence of infidelity . I kept the client up to date on the location of his wife ’ s car and he ended the call on me . I could not get in touch with him . The next thing I knew was my client drove past me ( no doubt in a rage ) and banged on the boyfriend ’ s front door . I had no option but to leave the area . The next day he contacted me to say his mood had got the better of him . He had jumped in with both feet without evidence . He even told his wife about the trackers which were unfortunately destroyed .
It ' s a good lesson to my clients that if you hire Trojan Investigations , no matter how hard it is , you have to let us do our job and gather all of the evidence before you show your hand . This man is now separated from his wife and children and it ’ s nobody ’ s fault but his .
