TIM COGLEY MEMORIAL GOLF DAY
This year saw the 3rd Tim Cogley memorial golf day held at the prestigious Heswall golf club . After having to cancel last years event due to covid , the organisers had a great response with 20 teams playing .
The weather the evening before threatened another cancellation as the downpour flooded the course , however , miracles do happen , at 1pm they had a shot gun start and the rain just cleared up leaving everyone to enjoy the afternoon .
The event continued into the evening with a BBQ and entertainment from Ethan Allen and the legendary Jan Molby joined them again for the auction , always great fun , especially when one of the lots was a ‘ squad signed ’ Everton shirt !
They had so much support from local businesses and couldn ’ t possibly raise so much money without them . The main sponsor was Jan Foley from Hallmark jewellers , providing fabulous pieces for the auction which helped to raise 10k from the event for the foundation .
This is a fantastic achievement and will help to continue the screening work for 18-39 year olds with partners Randox health .
