LOVE LISCARD INITIATIVE IS HERE
Love Liscard , a partnership between Wirral Chamber of Commerce , local businesses and Wirral Council has been successfully launched .
The initiative will deliver a cleaner and safer Liscard and by encouraging business owners and the public to share their experiences of Liscard , it will support ways to improve the town . Since its launch , Town Hosts , Arfon Williams and Ian Davies , have been busy engaging with local businesses , together with welcoming visitors and acting as a direct link between businesses and service providers .
A number of businesses have already contributed by sponsoring the planters along Liscard Way which have been filled with colourful plants and flowers , Laurie ’ s The Jewellers , McDonald ’ s , The Flower Boutique , Tax Assist , K L A S Accountants , and P . R . Jewellery have all taken part in this venture which has brought fresh vibrancy and colour to the shopping area .
feedback and ideas we will now look to develop these over the coming months . By being very visible , the Town Hosts have now become a key part of the initiative and will continue to engage with all parties as we move forward .”
Councillor Bernie Mooney commented , “ Wirral Council and Wirral Chamber of Commerce has created this initiative to make a real difference . We are confident that Love Liscard will support traders by building their confidence , whilst also attracting new visitors to the town . Its economic heart is the centre of Liscard and it is vital that we succeed , so we will build a real sense of community so people will recognise Liscard as a hub for retail and business growth .”

With ongoing efforts to drive improvements the Town Hosts are also engaging with Wirral Council to address any issues highlighted by local retailers .
During September the Town Hosts spent the day at the MACS Family Fun Day at Parkfield Farm in Meols , and by supplying the charity with the Love Liscard Gazebo it enabled greater promotion of the initiative to a wider audience .
