‘BE EXTRAORDINARY’ ROADSHOW
Highlighting Bentley’s unique combination of pure
luxury and performance, the new ‘Be Extraordinary’
Roadshow has been designed to give prospective
customers and fans alike a glimpse behind the walls
of the British luxury brand’s iconic factory in Crewe.
Bentley Motors is the most sought after luxury car brand in the
world. The company’s headquarters in Crewe is home to all of its
operations including design, R&D, engineering and production
of the company’s four model lines – Continental, Flying Spur,
Bentayga and Mulsanne. The combination of fine craftsmanship,
using skills that have been handed down through generations,
alongside engineering expertise and cutting-edge technology
is unique to UK luxury car brands such as Bentley. It is also an
example of high-value British manufacturing at its best. Bentley
employs around 4,000 people at Crewe.
Albert Dock was the second of many stops on the Be Extraordinary
Tours for the UK, a tour where Bentley are focusing on brand
awareness to a new area of interest and through various new

channels. This was an opportunity for guests to test drive the newest
cars including GT Speed Black Edition, GTC V8S, Bentayga,
Mulsanne and Flying Spur. Mulliner was also supporting with the
Fly Fishing Bentayga and a full Mulliner display area, including
racing simulator inside the Bentley Truck.
Material displays showcased the craftsmanship that goes into each
and every car, while a customisation area – incorporating Bentley’s
innovative Inspirator software – demonstrated the breadth of
personalisation available. Inspirator plays a series of engaging
video clips while monitoring the users’ facial expressions and
reactions. The app then interprets these minute facial movements
to configure a personalised Bentley that best suits their lifestyle and
preferences.
For racing enthusiasts, a simulator allowed keen drivers the chance
to put the virtual Continental GT3 race car through its paces, while
real test drives in a range of Bentley models were organised for
qualified individuals.
