Solaia Spa is located within the wonderful 5 star Hillbark Hotel, offering first class beauty and hair treatments. Housing the exclusive beauty brand Carita and internationally renowned hairdresser Callam W, this is a 5 star beauty destination.
Solaia Spa is beautifully appointed with a number of sumptuous treatment room’ s. My treatment was performed by the lovely Suzanne Corrigan( Spa Manager).
For my review, I was delighted to be experiencing the Carita Gold Perfection with Cinetic. The Carita brand( part of the L’ Oréal group) was launched over 60 years ago and is now exclusive to Solaia Spa at Hillbark Hotel. A true Parisian beauty brand, Carita has evolved over decades and in 2013 introduced the Cinetic Machine to the UK. The world’ s first ever combination of micro-currents, ultrasound and LED for dramatic, non-surgical, visible results after just one treatment. Cinetic is derived from the work Kinetic which means the‘ flow of energy’.
Here’ s what to expect from the Carita Gold Perfection with Cinetic treatment...
1. 2 x Facial Cleanse to remove make up & cleanse the skin.
2. Cartia’ s signature welcome massage using Fluide De Beaute 14 dry body oil. Corn and Hazelnut Oil, Vitamins, Arnica and Verbena.
3. Professional exfoliation, with ingredients of Thyme, Lemon, Clove and Sunflower Seeds.
4. Cinetic Machine introduced- Ultrasound, Vibrates at 28hertz per second that releases excess sebum and impurities from the skin.
5. Professional only Gold serum applied. This is more concentrated / active than the retail serum. Some of its ingredients are: 24ct natural Gold, Saffron, Hyaluronic Acid, Algae.
6. Cinetic Machine- Double Spheres Microcurrent is used that will boost the penetration of products, increase firmness of facial contours and perform an anti-ageing targeted massage to reduce wrinkle depth and appearance.
7. Cinetic Machine- Metallic Gloves Microcurrent is used. Gloves made of metallic fibres that help disseminate the micro-current through the skin. Current goes through the skin therapist who is wearing them and is then passed onto the client. The skin therapist has the ability to manipulate the facial muscles and create more of a lifting affect with a precise and safe massage. The gloves will firm, tone and reshape the facial contours.
8. Carita Biological Mask is applied that will reduce established signs of ageing. Ingredients of Avocado oil, vitamins and pure Azulene will nourish, smooth and leave the skin radiant and hydrated.
9. Cinetic Machine- LED and Ultrasound. This final stage of the facial uses 32hertz of ultrasound a second which will penetrate products into the skin, give a micro-massage and improve collagen synthesis. The LED will stimulate cellular renewal, increase the tissue metabolism and leave the skin looking brighter and more radiant.
10. Carita Trio of Gold Eye and Lip Cream and Skin Cream are applied to finish the treatment.
It costs £ 110 for a heavenly 1 hour 45 min treatment( nearest competitors RRP £ 135). A course of 6 treatments is recommended. One treatment every 2- 4 weeks.
