BY DR SALLY ANN DOLAN
If there is something about your nose that you don’t like but you
would never consider surgery, this is a procedure well worth
considering. non-surgical rhinoplasty is gaining in popularity and people
are searching the internet for clinics who provide this advanced

Hooked nose? Or a nose that simply looks too big? Do you avoid
having your photograph taken (especially a side profile)? Well, this
is something to think about as the appearance of your nose can be
adjusted and corrected non surgically with dermal fillers. Dr Ian Jones says, "we have been performing this procedure
for several years in our clinics, but we have certainly noticed
a considerable rise in the number of patients requesting this
treatment over the past 9-12 months.
Using dermal fillers, a hooked or bumpy nose can be transformed

"It is a very rewarding aesthetic treatment to perform as the
patient often presents with a long history of having been very
self-conscious of the shape or profile of their nose, and admit it
has a negative effect on their self-esteem and confidence, often
impacting on their social and work circumstances. Seeing the
reaction of these patients when they look in the mirror straight
after the procedure and when they compare the before and after
photographs that we take, is extremely satisfying and uplifting."
A non-surgical rhinoplasty is an alternative to surgery in many
patients. It is a treatment which will give an effect for approximately
12 months and can then be repeated. Dermal Fillers are great for
smoothing, straightening the bridge, and lifting the tip of the nose
and injected correctly making the nose more attractive and in
harmony with the rest of the face.
