WL FOOD & DRINK AN AUTHENTIC TASTE OF INDIA Wirral Life talk to Karma in West Kirby about their food concepts and a different type of Indian restaurant. How long has Karma been in West Kirby? It’s been in the family since 2002. Why would I choose to dine at Karma and not a different Indian Restaurant? Here at Karma, we focus on fresh, good quality ingredients. Simplicity is the key; you can create incredible tasting food with just three or four ingredients. Do you have a speciality dish? We have a few, but the best of all are the homestyle biryanis and the butter chicken. It took us months to get them right. Do you cater for varied diets? Absolutely, we have a separate vegan and gluten free menu. We are currently working on removing as many allergens as possible from our kitchen. Do you source your produce locally and is that important to you? Absolutely! Our two main suppliers are based in Birkenhead, we go there daily to pick out the best produce. 36 wirrallife.com We have noticed Karma out and about at local events recently, is this a new direction for the business? Who doesn't love a pop-up these days? We are currently working with several venues throughout Wirral to bring you pop-ups throughout the year. Also watch out for Karma themed yoga classes with a vegan lunch afterwards. Do you have anything going on for Christmas? Yes, we are able to cater for various outside events, including Christmas parties, weddings etc. What’s next for Karma? We are excited to announce that we will be launching Karma Express next year which will have online ordering and delivery, a service we have been asked for time and time again. We will also have an online booking system to reserve your table here at the restaurant, we are truly stepping up in a response to major demand. Can we just add that we are also delighted to be nominated as Wirral Life Restaurant of the Year. It could be a great end to a great year!
